I’ve been an eco-writer, educator, and activist for over 25 years, seeking to provide useful information that empowers constructive action for the earth.

One of my projects is Ask EcoGirl. Through her, I invite people's questions, make it easy for folks to be green, and empower the eco-hero in everyone.

Exploring my posts

* You can EXPLORE my posts by looking at them by category or in chronological order, using the two options above.

* It's also possible to SEARCH the site by other keywords, using the search box on the top left of the blue bar above.

* If you LIKE a piece, just click the Facebook Like icon and/or the "g+1" icon at the end of it.

* Your COMMENTS are welcome on all posts. I want to hear what you like, what interests you, etc!

* You can sometimes make commenting easier by signing in, which is at the right of the blue bar at the top of the page. (I'm still learning how that works for different folks. Let me know!)

Making the connection

* If you like a piece, you can LET OTHERS KNOW using the easy buttons at the end of each one, such as the Facebook "F" or the envelope for email. You can also tell them about the blog overall!

* You can get new posts EMAILED to you by signing up in that box above.

* QUESTION: Would you like be a FOLLOWER of this blog? Do you use that feature? Should I add this option here? I'm deciding about this selection. It would allow people to show their support of the blog and get it in their Google Reader/Reading List. But I don't know if it's confusing to have this plus the email option.
